i need some serious advice!
how can i get stick thin legs?! i've tried everything!
i've cut out nearly all carbs and im drinking 2 litres of water a day and doing daily exercises. but i've found that im building more muscle now than i am slimming down.
please help! xx

epically failing.

hi guys, i haven't posted in about over a year i think.
my weight has been going up and down for about a year now aswell.
last time i was on here i was 110lbs, now i'm 125ish.

it's horrible. if anyone would like to start a water fast with me for the next 7 days, let me know! i plan to have one apple a day, cut up into little bits that i can eat throughout the day.

i used to be able to do it easily, i'm a bit worried about being able to do it now and could use the support! xx

I'm back!!

Hey ladies...I am SO happy that some of you are still taking the time to post and comment!!

I have lost 12 lbs in the past 2 weeks :)...it's finally happening..I'm boosting my routines up for summer :)
It's getting SO hot where I live and I still find it difficult to trade my jeans for short..I don't love my legs..

Lately I've been feeling really blah. I've been sick, I found out I have a stomach ulcer..SHITTY. It makes me feel sick all the time. I feel drained of energy, like nothing I do can bring me up. It snowed today. I just want the sun to come back. It will make me feel happy again. *Sigh*

Friend with ED

Last night one of my best guy friends came over and he looks so much thinner then before. He told me he lost 30 lbs in the last 2 months. He's been restricting and purging a lot. I want to tell him to stop, but he's not going to listen anyway, it's already consumed him. I feel like I finally have someone I can talk to about my EdNos without being judged. He inspires me..is that wrong?

SO, I just got back from the doctors and she says I have a stomach ulcer...I wonder if it is because of the chewing and spitting that I use to do so much..that was over a year ago though..hmm

Dirty Dancing <3

I just got done watching Dirty Dancing. I LOVE that movie. Watching it just now, I noticed how beautiful and thin most of the girls in the movie are, especially Baby. Great "thinspo" :)

I think people are attempting to join this community for the wrong reasons..hmm

So, I just got THREE membership requests from people. Whenever I get membership requests, the first thing I do is check out their profile, see who they are friends with, and what other communities they are members of.

ALL THREE of these girls were members of lol_anaz. For those of you who don't know, that is a community that takes posts that they believe are from "wannarexics" or that they think are funny and post it on their community, making fun of it.

Sometimes they also go through and post things like "food porn" or gross pictures on other communities. I didn't accept their requests and I hope this isn't the start of something again.

ALSO: I'm sorry I've been neglecting the tip of the days, again, these aren't tips on eating disorders because I think we are well aware of those..so I will post one later.

I have never looked so fat in my life. I can't even breathe right now, I just keep crying.

So, My best friend booked our campground for this summer! Its right by the beach! There is also a skydiving place in the area, so I have decided to go skydiving this summer.

Have any of you ever been skydiving? If so, PLEASE describe your experience! I'm afraid of that falling sensation but I hear its not like that.

I'm new so I figured I'd introduce myself and give a little info.

My name is Sydney, and I'm 18 years old. I've been mia for awhile now, since I was about 15. I come from a really tiny town thats right on the beach, so my motivation is handed to me. I see all these pretty, skinny girls and wish that I could be that skinny. Makes me sooooo jealous. 

My stats are

Height: 5'6
Current weight: 123
Goal weight 1: 110
Goal weight 2: 100
Goal weight 3: 95
Ultimate goal weight: no clue yet. i figure I'll take it piece by piece and if I'm not happy by the time I'm 95, then I'll decide my next goal.
I'm going to head to the gym here in a bit, and work out for a billion hours.

I went to the doctor the other day for a pap test and she said that it looks like I've lost weight :)

I'm drinking a ton of water today and hoping to get to the gym later on :)

i posted this to my lj but i thought i would post it here too

according to the new google calorie counter i have been having less than 500 cals a day....

yesterday (tuesday) i had...

-1 cup of coffee
-1 glass of juice

-miso soup

-chicken broth from soup that my boyfriends mom made

**407 cals (+/-) according to google**

the day before that (monday) i had...

-1 cup of coffee
-1 glass of juice

-green tea

-chicken noodle soup (just the broth)

-miso soup (just the broth)

**315 cals (+/-) according to google**

today (wednesday) so far i have had....

-orange juice

and that is it so far....

**which is 225 cals (+/-) according to google**

i am going to try to make today more like monday and have less than 350 cals... which means that for today i only have about 125 cals left for the day....

maybe i will have green tea again for lunch orrrr a really small portion of chicken broth

I am such a little actress....

each morning i have been waking up ridiculously early to make my coffee, drink my juice, and dirty up the kitchen to make it look like i used dishes and stuff so that my grandpa wouldnt get up and decide to make me breakfast...

then i tell my boyfriend that i had breakfast and describe "my big meal" to him on the way to work and how full i am

annd i have been telling him that my stomach has been bothering me so that he wont tempt/push me to eat something

also i packed snacks for us to "share" at school to make it seem like i am interested in eating

then i will have some broth from soup in front of him since i am "not feeling well" so that he and his family see that i am consuming

and i have been going home a little later than usual so that by the time i get home they have already eaten. Once i get home if my family offers me something i either say " i am just going to make myself something, dont worry about it" or that "i had a big dinner over at my boyfriends house..."

I am going to have to find new crafty ways to get around consuming more than just liquids...but for now this feels glorious and is working quite well...

started a fast...

 at 11:30 pm last night( Sunday) ...going to fast until Thursday at 5 pm......almost 4 days

today was easy...hopefully tomorrow wont be too bad....

i had wanted to do a two day fast butttttt....

my fast will have to wait, i really wanted to but another event popped up......i am gong to have a nice dinner with family from out of town tonight... and my family is always watching what i eat, as is my boyfriend!

GRRR!!! i will fast!!!!

its just as well that i am not doing it now...i really want to do a three-five day fast and i wouldnt have been able to do so this time..

i am going to avoid food as much as i can though aside from the special events for the next few days so that i wont feel as guilty or as bloated.....no more sweets at all...

i cannot let sugar touch my lips!!!

today will be difficult. I just wanted to say that. I am already feeling the anxiety...
It is my best friends birthday... this means eating and drinking. I am trying to remain calm. I feel ridiculous, like a child. Just breath. God... sometimes I hate that I am this way. Days like today. I can't focus on the happiness of my friend, how selfish, instead I focus on the fact that there are 64 calories in 1oz of tequila, or 210 calories in 1 pint of Guinness. lol. pathetic.

hi every one!!

I am new so just to give you a summary of my goals...

I am 19 years old and i live in texas, i want to trim down drastically to get rid of my yucky fatty legs and so that i wont have to worry about being self concious when i wear short shorts or bikinis..

height: 5'7"
starting weight: 126
current weight: 121
goal weight: 112

i have 9 pounds to go!!! i need to exercise more...but with school and work, sometimes it is hurd because i am pressed for time so i pick up someething like fast food and then i dont have time to exercise :'(

i had gotten down to 118.5 but then i had a string of family events and parties that i attended and i ate and drank quite a bit...so i am refocusing myself and starting out by having yogurt, water, and coffee...and then water for the rest of the day or a few veggies every here and there.

***any one have any good tips for supressing hunger?***

I welcome any tips/ tricks and invite anyone who wishes to check out my page to do so...

Something really troubling happened today.

My little, 11 year old sister announced to me that she will not be buying a bikini for Florida because she is fat. She also says that she hates the fact that she is "bulgy and round". She claims her stomach is sticking out over the waistband of her pants.

I will admit to noticing that she has put on weight recently, but that could just be because of the onset of puberty. I find it incredibly fucked up that at 11, she already has this mindset. I thought I was fat at eleven, so I started not eating lunch then bingeing when I got home (though I didn't understand what a binge was at the time). This lead into some pretty unhealthy habits. I spent seventh grade overeating, and am now spending eighth skipping breakfast and/or lunch, then sometimes bingeing. I am not a mentally healthy individually, nor am I "normal". I have known I wasn't like everybody else since the age of 6.

Anyways, I'm really scared my sister will end up being as messed up or worse as me. Anyone have any ideas on how I could try to boost her confidence without sounding too corny or fake?

I found this and it only says max. of 2lbs a week... I feel like it might be off but give it a try if you would like.


something I posted on my journal, but thought you ladies might appreciate it too.

I run a cafe, and I often feel like I might give into the temptation of doughnuts or cookies(I am surrounded by treats!!!). So usually I keep carrots or something near by so if I must I munch on those, but today I was seriously craving eggs... 1 egg is 70 cals, most of the time you have to cook them in oil or butter, which makes me feel so bad, but today I decided to go ahead and eat them, I had 2 eggs, that is 170 cals. I whipped them and steamed them with the steaming wand that we use to steam milk. NO OIL, NO BUTTER! they were the perfect treat... yum yum.... I felt so wonderful after figuring this little trick out, I will never eat oily buttery eggs again.

Tip of the Day- Whiter Teeth :)

Having a bright smile is very important in how people look at you :)
A couple of weeks ago I bought Crest White Strips and they have worked great! A plus is that I have to wear them for 30 minutes, twice a day and it keeps me from wanting to eat!

Some tips to keep your teeth white are:

1- Use a straw to drink dark drinks like pop or tea...it will bring the liquid past your teeth so they won't get stained.
2- DO NOT smoke! It may cut cravings but it's not worth it to have yellow teeth and bad health.
3- Use a whitening tooth paste every time you brush. Over time it really will change the color of your teeth.
4- When chewing gum, always use sugar free and a brand that whitens your teeth.
5- If you have the money- try Crest White Strips. I just got the classic kind, and they work just as good as the more expensive kinds. Mine only cost $19.99 for a box of 27 top and 27 bottom strips.
6- Brush your teeth at the very least, twice a day, and floss once a day.
7- Use a mouth wash that is non-alcoholic. It may not have a difference in how your teeth whiten, but it is safer then using alcoholic mouth wash because the alcoholic kinds are said to cause mouth cancer. Also, if you use white strips, your gums will be sensitive and the alcoholic kind can burn.
